Prescribed to death
Last year, 22,000 Americans died from prescription opioids. That’s one person every 24 minutes. So we carved 22,000 faces into 22,000 opioid pills, then created an exhibit that allowed people to come face to face with the problem. A machine was programmed to carve a new face every 24 minutes, allowing the wall to grow with the problem in real time.
We then created Warn Me Labels for insurance cards to give people the power to stay informed by medical professionals.
